Trying to stay on top of it

So let's just talk about how big of a procrastinator I am! I have about a zillion things to do and just no desire to do them and keep finding ways to avoid them. This is a detailed list of what I need to do and how I need to do it. Keep in mind, writing this post is just another way to avoid responsibility and is proving to be a very effective means of doing so.

1)Clean my house- I have two guys coming at some point this weekend to check out the house and see if they want to lease it from me and Mike (basically they want the 14 month lease which means that they would take over the two months of my lease that I wont be here for and keep the place until August of next year). I really need to get someone to move in here June because I can't afford this place and another rent in NYC and I have to move in June because that's when Heather needs a place to stay. So a clean house that presents well is super important to me right now. I heard from these guys that they wanted to look at the house on Wednesday for this weekend. I didn't clean up because I was sorta doing hw/studying and sorta watching tv and completely feeling like death from these severe headaches/maybe migraines? that I have been having for a couple of weeks now (nothing makes them go away, it's miserable!). I have class all day on and off Thursday but I was so tired from not sleeping Wednesday night that I went to bed at like 10 yesterday and slept forEVER. Once I got up this afternoon the guys gave me a time to come by but unfortunately it was at the same time as George's vet apt and so I couldn't agree (plus the house is a disaster!). So once I got home from that I paid some bills talked to my parents on the phone. Talked to Josh because he's coming to town right now and then sat down to do this. I have a list all made out of what to do but I haven't done anything on it but clean the guest closet and I didn't really clean it I just moved things around so it looked more organized. So after this I really do need to get up and get that done asap because if the guys want to come over tomorrow the house has to be ready for that.

2)I need to go to two reading for my Eng 424 class- I've been to one already but two more are required as part of my participation grade or something for class. This weekend is the Oxford conference for the book so I have a bunch of chances to get those two readings in and then I wont have to worry about more for the rest of the semester but I missed the one at four I was going to go to and if i get too into cleaning I wont make the 8pm one which only leaves tomorrow and that's when Josh wants to hang out so I wouldn't make him go to two of them so we'll see what happens with that.

3)I have to research for my biology project and my Chaucer essay. With the other major things going on these just don't seem as important. I think I'll forget about them until Sunday.

4)I need to work on my first draft of my paper on Isis and finish reading the two books I never finished. I find it all very interesting but it just seems like watching tv or messing around on the internet are so much more exciting. The paper is supposed to be ten pages long and it's due on Thursday (I think) so I really do need to get to it!

5)I need to do my Chaucer homework. It's due at 11:55 Saturday night and I haven't even read the stuff for it yet. I actually haven't even taken the quiz from last week but whatever I'll get to that eventually. I think this will all be pushed back to sunday as well, the house and the readings should be my top priority right now!

6)I need to work on my resume and search for apartments and jobs in NYC. School ends for me May 28th, though commencement it May 14th (I have one class short that I need to make up because they aren't accepting my fine arts credit from UNLV-what a shock right ha). I move out there June 1st (as I stated above) and really need to get everything together for that!

7)At some point I should probably eat but I just don't know what I want or maybe it's that I don't have anything that I want and that is making me not hungry, I'm not too sure, but eating is important so I guess I should get around to that.

*Important news break* George has just come out of his box to sit with me which is a huge improvement. He still isn't his normal self but I hope this means that the steroid shot he got is slowly working!

8)Ummm probably a ton more things but I really don't remember them at the moment!

So as you can see I am super busy and really don't need to be procrastinating but I am for whatever reason. So talk to you later, keep your fingers crossed that I get myself together and get everything done.

Love and Kisses,
KABO
